CARBON FIBER PACKING WITH PTFE
Mmaterial: They are braided packings made of carbon fiber which is impregnated with P.T.F.E.dispersion .
Characteristics: They are inert to almost all corrosive chemicals. When used for pumps, frictional heat is freely conducted to the stuffing box metal because of its excellent thermal conductivity, and thus no damage will be made to the packing.
Application:This type packing can replace P.T.F.E. asbestos
packing in a very wide service range and can be used to seal crrosive fluids except strong oxidizer acids, organic solutions, fluids where contamination is not permissible for centrifugal pumps, plunger pumps, mixers valver,etc.
